Telangana LAWCET Notification 2025 Online Form, Exam Pattern
TGLAWCET 2025 Notification: Osmania University, Hyderabad, under the aegis of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE), has announced the Telangana State Law Common Entrance Test (TG LAWCET-2025) and Telangana State PG Law Common Entrance Test (TG PGLCET-2025) for the academic year 2025-26. These entrance exams facilitate admissions into 3-year and 5-year LL.B. programs, as well as 2-year LL.M. courses offered by state universities and their affiliated colleges in Telangana.

- Notification Release Date: February 25, 2025
- Start of Online Application: March 1, 2025
- Last Date for Application Submission (without late fee): April 15, 2025
- Last Date for Application Submission (with late fee): May 25, 2025
- Correction Window: May 20 to May 25, 2025
- Hall Ticket Availability: May 30, 2025
- Examination Date: June 6, 2025
Eligibility Criteria for TGLAWCET 2025:
- Nationality: Candidates must be Indian citizens or Persons of Indian Origin (PIO)/Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) cardholders.
- Educational Qualifications:
- 3-year LL.B. Course: A bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks for General category, 42% for OBC, and 40% for SC/ST candidates.
- 5-year LL.B. Course: Completion of the two-year Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) or its equivalent with at least 45% aggregate marks for General category, 42% for OBC, and 40% for SC/ST candidates.
- LL.M. Course: An LL.B./B.L. degree (3/5 years) from a recognized institution.
- Age Limit: There is no age restriction for admission into LL.B. or LL.M. courses.
Application Fee for TGLAWCET 2025:
- 3-year/5-year LL.B. Courses:
- General and OBC Candidates: ₹900
- SC/ST and PH Candidates: ₹600
- LL.M. Course:
- General and OBC Candidates: ₹1,100
- SC/ST and PH Candidates: ₹900
The application fee can be paid online using Debit Card, Credit Card, or Net Banking through the payment gateway provided in the application portal.
Exam Pattern for TGLAWCET 2025:
- Duration: 90 minutes
- Total Questions: 120 multiple-choice questions
- Sections:
- Part A: General Knowledge and Mental Ability (30 questions)
- Part B: Current Affairs (30 questions)
- Part C: Aptitude for the Study of Law (60 questions, including 10 questions based on legal passage comprehension)
