TGPSC Group-1 Hall Tickets 2024 available from 1 June 2024
TGPSC Group-1
Update: The TGPSC has made
important suggestions for the candidates appearing for the Group-I preliminary
examination in Telangana. The exam will be held from 10:30 am to 1:00 pm on
June 9. Candidates will be allowed to enter the examination centres from 9:00
am onwards. The gates of the examination centre will be closed at 10:00 am.
After that, it was clarified that no one would be allowed inside.
TGPSC Group-1 Examination Details
- Date and Time: June 9, from 10:30 am to 1:00 pm.
- Entry Time: Candidates can enter from 9:00 am; gates close at 10:00 am.
Application and Hall Ticket Information
- Application Period: Online applications were accepted from February 23 to March 16.
- Number of Applicants: Over 4.03 lakh candidates have applied across the state.
- Hall Ticket Download: Hall tickets can be downloaded from 2:00 pm on June 1.
Examination Centre Guidelines
- Prohibited Items: Calculators, pagers, cell phones, tablets, pen drives, Bluetooth devices, watches, mathematics tables, log books, log tables, wallets, handbags, pouches, writing pads, notes, charts, jewelry, other gadgets/electronic devices, and recording devices are not allowed inside the examination centre.
- Footwear: Only sandals are allowed; shoes are not permitted.
- Exit Policy: Candidates are not allowed to leave the examination centre until the exam is completed. The OMR sheet must be handed over to the invigilator before exiting.
Biometric Verification
- Biometrics Start Time: Biometrics will begin at 9:30 am.
- Biometric Compliance: Candidates must capture their biometric data before leaving. If biometric data is not provided, the OMR answer sheet will not be evaluated.
Precautions
- Mehendi and Tattoos: Do not wear mehendi or temporary tattoos that may interfere with biometric recording.
- Storage Facility: The Commission will not provide storage facilities for candidates’ valuables at the examination centre.
Time Management and Final Preparations
- Warning Bells: Bells will ring every half an hour to help candidates manage their time. Candidates can also ask the invigilator for the time.
- Centre Location: It is advisable to visit the examination centre at least a day in advance to avoid last-minute confusion.
- Instruction Review: Carefully check the instructions on the hall ticket and OMR answer sheet before the exam.
These guidelines are crucial for ensuring a smooth examination process. Candidates are advised to adhere strictly to these instructions to avoid any inconvenience on the day of the exam.
