The Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board (TSLPRB) has released a notification for the recruitment of Mechanic (Diesel) / Mechanic (Motor Vehicle) under the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC). A total of 589 vacancies are available for these trades across all district cadres in Telangana. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online from 08 October 2025 to 28 October 2025 at the official website www.tgprb.in.

Eligibility Criteria for TGSRTC Mechanic Recruitment 2025

Educational Qualification:

• Candidates must have passed ITI in Mechanic (Diesel) or Mechanic (Motor Vehicle) trade.
• CoE (Centre of Excellence) equivalent qualification in the Automobile Sector with advanced module in Servicing and Overhauling of Automobile (Diesel/Petrol) or Overhauling of Fuel Engine and Steering System is also eligible.
• The qualification should be completed on or before 1st July 2025.

Age Limit (as on 01.07.2025):

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 30 years
• Upper age relaxation:
  • SC / ST / BC / EWS: 5 years
  • Ex-servicemen: 3 years + length of service in armed forces

Pay Scale – TGSRTC Mechanic Jobs 2025

• Salary: ₹16,550 – ₹45,030/- per month
• Pay and allowances as per TGSRTC norms.

Selection Process – TGSRTC Mechanic Recruitment 2025

Selection will be made based on Weightage Marks (100 Marks):

• 90 Marks – Based on aggregate marks in ITI trade.
• 10 Marks – For possessing National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC).
• Minimum Qualifying Marks:
  • OC / EWS: 50%
  • BC: 45%
  • SC / ST: 40%

Final selection will be on merit basis and local candidature as per district cadre reservation.

• All Others: ₹400/-
