TGPSC Group-2 Exam Date 2024 and Syllabus: Telangana Public Service Commission (TGPSC) has announced the exam dates for the highly anticipated Group-2 recruitment. The TGPSC Group-2 exam is scheduled to be conducted on December 15 and 16, 2024, in Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) mode. Along with the exam dates, TGPSC has also released the detailed exam pattern and syllabus for this recruitment. A total of 551,943 candidates have applied for 783 posts, making the competition intense with approximately 943 aspirants vying for each vacancy. The TGPSC Group-2 hall tickets will be available for download seven days prior to the exam.

• Mode of Exam: OMR Based
• Hall Ticket available date: 09-12-2024
• Exam Date: 15-12-2024 & 16-12-2024

Exam Schedule:

Shift 1: 09:00 AM to 12:00 PM

Shift 2: 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM

The exam will be conducted across all districts of Telangana, with exam centers to be announced in due course.

TGPSC Group-2 Exam Syllabus Pattern:

The TGPSC Group-2 Exam 2024 will be conducted for 600 marks across 4 papers, all of which are objective type.

Each paper will have a duration of 150 minutes and contain 150 multiple choice questions (MCQs), with each question carrying one mark.

Paper 3-Economy and Development:

Indian Economy: Issues and challenges – 50 marks

Economy and Development of Telangana – 50 marks

Issues of Development and Change – 50 marks

Paper 4-Telangana Movement and State Formation:

The idea of Telangana (1948-1970) – 50 marks

Mobilizational phase (1971-1990) – 50 marks

Towards formation of Telangana State (1991-2014) – 50 marks
