Candidates qualifying for Stage 1 (INET Exam) must clear the Physical Fitness Test (PFT) to proceed further. The PFT is mandatory for selection in Indian Navy Agniveer Recruitment 2026, and candidates must meet the required fitness standards.

1. Running Test

• Male Candidates: 1.6 km run in 6 minutes 30 seconds
• Female Candidates: 1.6 km run in 8 minutes

Medical Standards for Indian Navy Agniveer 2026

1. Height Requirements

• Male Candidates: Minimum 157 cm
• Female Candidates: Minimum 157 cm

2. Weight Requirements

• The candidate’s weight should be proportionate to height & age as per medical standards.

3. Tattoo Policy

• Allowed: Tattoos are permitted only on the inner forearms (inside of elbow to the wrist) and back of the hand.
• Not Allowed: Tattoos on any other part of the body will result in disqualification.

4. Visual Standards

Candidates who clear all selection rounds will undergo basic training at INS Chilka, Odisha.
