The District Medical & Health Officer (DMHO), Nirmal District has released Notification No. 03/2026 for the recruitment of various healthcare and allied health posts under the National Health Mission (NHM). DMHO Nirmal Qualification 2026

VCCM
- Any Graduation Degree.
Lab Technician
- DMLT / B.Sc. MLT.
- Registration with the Telangana Medical Council as prescribed.
MLHP/CHO/MO – Palle Dawakhana
- MBBS with registration with Telangana Medical Council, or
- BAMS with registration with the Board of Indian Medicine.
Staff Nurse
- B.Sc. Nursing or GNM.
- Registration with Telangana Nursing Council.
ANM
- SSC.
- 18-month MPHW(F) Training Certificate recognized by Telangana State Nursing & Midwives Council, or
- Two-year Intermediate Vocational MPHW(F) course with the prescribed clinical/apprenticeship training.
Pharmacist
- D.Pharm, B.Pharm or Pharm.D.
- Registration with Telangana State Pharmacy Council.
Psychologist
- Master’s Degree in Child Psychology from a recognized university.
Social Worker
- Postgraduate Degree in Social Work (MSW) or Sociology.
- Healthcare experience as prescribed.
Adolescent Health Counsellor
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counselling or related behavioural science.
- Two years’ experience in the health or social sector.
Pathologist
- MBBS / MD Pathology.

DMHO Nirmal Selection Process 2026
Selection will be conducted through the District Selection Committee for the District Health Society. The committee includes the District Collector as Chairman, along with other designated officials.
The selection is based on a 100-mark system:
- 90 marks – Marks obtained in the qualifying examination
- 10 marks – Age weightage
For age weightage, 0.5 mark is awarded for each completed year of age, starting from 18 years, with a maximum of 10 marks. The age is calculated as on 01 July 2026.
A merit list will be prepared based on these marks, followed by the applicable Rule of Reservation and Presidential Order for preparing the final selection list.
