NHM DMHO Nalgonda District Jobs 2026 – Lab Technician, Staff Nurse, ANM Vacancy

The District Medical & Health Officer (DMHO), Nalgonda District has released Notification–2 for recruitment to 24 vacancies under the National Health Mission (NHM) on contract and outsourcing basis. The recruitment includes Lab Technician, Staff Nurse, ANM, Anesthetist, OBG Specialist, Senior DOTS Plus TB-HIV, OT Technician and other healthcare positions.

Eligible candidates can apply for the post matching their educational qualification and professional registration. The recruitment is being conducted by the District Selection Committee headed by the District Collector & District Magistrate, Nalgonda.

The vacancies are distributed across different NHM programmes and health units, including IHR Blood Collection and Transportation Van, IDSP, NUHM-UPHC, RBSK, NCD-NPPCDC, NCD-NPHCE, Maternal Health CEMONC/MCH Centre and RNTCP/NTEP.

DMHO Nalgonda Qualification 2026

The educational qualification varies depending on the position.

Lab Technician

• Intermediate
• Diploma/Certificate Course in Medical Laboratory Technology or equivalent
• Registration with the Telangana Paramedical Board

Staff Nurse

• GNM or B.Sc Nursing
• Registration with the Nursing Council for Telangana

ANM

Candidates should have:

• MPHW (Female) Training Course qualification and registration with Telangana State Nurses & Midwives Council, or
• Intermediate Vocational MPHW (Female) Training Course with the prescribed clinical/apprenticeship training
• Registration with the Telangana Paramedical Board, wherever applicable

Anesthetist

• MBBS
• MD in Anaesthesiology or DNB in Anaesthesia
• Registration with Telangana Medical Council

OBG Specialist

• MBBS with PG qualification such as:
  • MS (OBG)
  • MD (Gynaecology)
  • DGO
  • DNB in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Registration with Telangana Medical Council

Senior DOTS Plus TB-HIV

• Bachelor’s Degree or recognized Sanitary Inspector’s Course
• Certificate Course in Computer Operations of at least 2 months
• Permanent two-wheeler driving licence
• Preference may be given to candidates with TB-related, social work or MPHW qualifications

OT Technician

• Diploma in Operation Theatre Technology (DOTT), or
• Diploma in Medical Sterilization Management and OT Technology, or
• B.Sc/BOTT in Operation Theatre Technology
• Registration with Telangana Paramedical Board or equivalent council.

• Minimum Age: 18 Years
• Maximum Age: 44 Years
• Age reckoned as on: 01 July 2026

Age relaxation is applicable as per Telangana Government rules:

• SC/ST/BC/EWS – 5 years
• Ex-Servicemen – 3 years plus length of service, where applicable
• NCC candidates – 3 years plus length of service, where applicable
• Persons with disabilities – 10 years

DMHO Nalgonda Selection Process 2026

The recruitment will be conducted by the District Selection Committee on behalf of the District Health Society.

For most posts, selection is based on a 100-mark system:

• 90 Marks: Qualifying examination marks
• 10 Marks: Age weightage

For age weightage, 0.5 mark is awarded for every completed year of age, starting from 18 years, subject to a maximum of 10 marks.

The merit list will be prepared separately for each category of post. The final selection list will follow the applicable Rule of Reservation, Presidential Orders and SC/ST reservation rules.
