Training, Telangana, Hyderabad, has announced the commencement of the Lateral
Entry in to Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (LPCET) for the academic year
2024-25. This initiative aims to provide eligible ITI certificate holders with
an opportunity to pursue 2nd-year Diploma Courses in Engineering at various

Available Seats in Telangana Polytechnic College sunder LPCET Lateral entry:
There are approximately 115 polytechnic colleges are available
in Telangana State and having seats of 29000+.
Eligibility Criteria to appear for LPCET -2024
Candidates interested in appearing for LPCET-2024 must have
successfully completed a 2-year ITI course with a minimum of 60% marks.
Additionally, they should have undergone a Bridge Course conducted by the
Department of Education and Training (DIT).
Telangana LPCET ITI to Diploma Lateral Entry Important Dates:
The application sale commenced on 18th March 2024 and will
continue until 16th April 2024 by 5 pm without any late fee. However,
candidates can avail themselves of the application until 18th April 2024 by 5
pm with a late fee of Rs.100.
The last date for submission of applications is 20th April
2024 by 5 pm. It’s crucial for applicants to adhere to these deadlines to
ensure their participation in the examination.
Telangana LPCET 2024 Exam Dates:
The LPCET-2024 is scheduled to be conducted on 20th May
2024. The results will be released within 12 days from the examination date,
providing timely feedback to candidates. Detailed announcements and application

Technical Education and Training, Telangana.
Telangana LPCET 2024 Exam Pattern:
LPCET Exam will be conducted for 120 marks.
Total 120 question will be given.
Exam duration is 120 minutes.
Minimum qualifying marks are 40%.

How to apply for Telangana LPCET-2024:
a) Candidates have to download the application from the
website, fill the application and submit the same along with requisite Fee in
the form of DD (drawn in favour of “SECRETARY, SBTET, TS, Hyderabad) to The
Principal, Govt. Polytechnic, Masab Tank, Hyderabad.
b) The fee structure is Rs.500/- for OC and Rs.300/- for
SC/ST in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of “ SECRETARY, SBTET, TS,
Hyderabad”

d) The Examination center is Govt. Polytechnic, MasabTank,
Hyderabad.
Telangana LPCET 2024 Hall Ticket to appear for examination:
a) Candidate has to submit the filled application along with
DD to the Principal, Govt. Polytechnic, Masab tank and obtain the hall ticket.
b) Hall Ticket issued to you in an important document.
Please preserve it carefully till the admissions.
c) Hall ticket is not transferable. Any tampering of Hall
Ticket will automatically lead to the disqualification of the Candidate.
