Required Documents for TG Police Online Application 2026

The Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board (TGPRB) has advised candidates to keep all the necessary certificates and supporting documents ready before the online application process begins. These documents will be required while submitting the online application form and may also be verified during different stages of the recruitment process. Candidates applying for Sub Inspector (SI), Police Constable, Fire Fighter, Station Fire Officer, SPF, Deputy Jailor, Warder, and other posts should prepare the required documents in advance to avoid delays during the application process.

Candidates should keep the following documents ready before filling out the TGPRB online application form:

  • Recent Passport Size Photograph
  • Candidate’s Signature
  • Aadhaar Card or any Valid Photo Identity Proof
  • SSC (10th Class) Certificate
  • Intermediate / Degree / Other Educational Qualification Certificates (as applicable)
  • Date of Birth Proof
  • Mobile Number
  • Valid Email ID

SC Community Certificate

Candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC) category and local to Telangana should keep the latest SC Community Certificate ready. The certificate should include the applicable SC Group I, SC Group II, or SC Group III classification and must be issued by the competent authority of the Government of Telangana.

EWS Certificate

Candidates applying under the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) category and local to Telangana should possess the latest EWS Certificate issued by the competent authority of the Government of Telangana. The certificate should be issued on or after 1 April 2026.

BC Non-Creamy Layer Certificate

Candidates belonging to the Backward Class (BC) category and local to Telangana should keep the latest Non-Creamy Layer Certificate ready. According to the press note, the certificate must be issued by the competent authority of the Government of Telangana on or after 1 April 2026.

Local Candidature Certificate

Candidates who are local to Telangana should keep their Local Candidature Certificate ready. The board has specified that candidates may use:

  • Bonafide Certificates from 1st Class to 7th Class, or
  • Residence Certificate,

whichever is applicable.

Special Category Certificates

Candidates applying under any Special Category should keep the relevant certificate ready, wherever applicable.

  • Keep all original certificates ready before the online application starts.
  • Ensure that all certificates are valid and issued by the competent authority wherever required.
  • Upload only clear and readable scanned copies in the prescribed format during the online application.
