Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree awarded by any university in India established or recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) or possess an equivalent qualification as on 29 July 2026. Candidates with higher qualifications are also eligible. Degree obtained through recognized Open Universities or Distance Education is also acceptable if approved by the competent statutory authority.
Age Limit
Candidates should have attained 21 years and should not have attained 25 years as on 1 July 2026. The Telangana Government has also provided an enhancement in the upper age limit for uniformed services, and category-wise age relaxations are applicable for SC, ST, BC, EWS, Ex-Servicemen, NCC Instructors, and eligible Telangana Government employees as per the notification.

Apart from the basic pay, candidates are entitled to Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Medical Facilities, Leave Benefits, Pension benefits (as applicable), Uniform Allowance, and other benefits admissible under Telangana Government rules.
PMT (Physical Measurement Test)
Male Candidates

- Chest : 86.3 cm

Female Candidates
- Height : 152.5 cm
Relaxation in height is available for eligible Scheduled Tribe candidates belonging to notified Agency Areas as prescribed in the notification.
PET (Physical Efficiency Test)
Candidates qualifying in the Preliminary Written Test shall appear for the Physical Measurement Test and Physical Efficiency Test. The PET consists of events prescribed by TGPRB, including running and other physical events. Candidates must secure the prescribed qualifying standards to become eligible for the Final Written Examination.
