Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree from any university established by law in India or an equivalent qualification recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The Degree or Provisional Certificate should have been issued on or before 29 July 2026. Candidates possessing higher qualifications are also eligible to apply.

Age Limit

Candidates must have attained 21 years and should not have attained 25 years as on 1 July 2026.

Age Relaxation

• SC / ST / BC / EWS – 5 Years
• Ex-Servicemen – 3 Years + Service Rendered
• NCC Instructors – 3 Years + Service
• Telangana Government Employees – Up to 5 Years (subject to conditions)

The Telangana Government has also enhanced the upper age limit for uniformed services by 5 years as per the applicable Government Order.

TG Police SI Salary 2026

Selected candidates will receive the following pay scale:

₹42,300 – ₹1,15,270

In addition to the basic pay, candidates are eligible for Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Medical Benefits, Leave Benefits, Uniform Allowance, and other Telangana Government allowances.

PMT (Physical Measurement Test)

Male Candidates

• Height: 167.6 cm
• Chest: 86.3 cm
• Chest Expansion: 5 cm

Female Candidates

• Height: 152.5 cm

Relaxation in height is applicable for eligible Scheduled Tribe candidates belonging to notified Agency Areas as per the official notification.

PET (Physical Efficiency Test)

Candidates qualifying in the Preliminary Written Test will be called for the Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET). Candidates must achieve the prescribed qualifying standards in the physical events to become eligible for the Final Written Examination.
