Hyderabad: Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka has announced that the government will soon release another DSC (District Selection Committee) notification to fill over 5,000 teacher posts. He emphasized the importance of the current DSC exams, which are offering 11,000 teacher positions, and encouraged the unemployed to prepare diligently.
In a media briefing at Gandhi Bhavan, accompanied by Vaira MLA Ramdas Naik, PCC spokesperson Lokesh Yadav, and chairmen of warehousing and seed development corporations Nageswara Rao and Anvesh Reddy, Bhatti Vikramarka shared the following details:
- Current DSC Exam:
- Applications: 2.79 lakh candidates have applied.
- Hall Tickets: 2.05 lakh candidates have downloaded their hall tickets.
- Exam Dates: July 18 to August 5.
- Support: A 24-hour grievance cell is set up to assist candidates with any issues.
- Future Plans:
- An in-depth study of schools revealed that even after filling the 11,000 posts, there will be an additional 5,000 vacancies.
- Another DSC notification will be issued to fill these 5,000 vacancies and any further vacancies that arise.
Bhatti Vikramarka reassured the unemployed, stating that the government frequently issues DSC notifications to ensure ample employment opportunities for teachers. He highlighted the government’s commitment to the well-being of Telangana’s children, aiming for them to secure stable careers and contribute to the education system.

Bhatti Vikramarka contrasted the current government’s efforts with the previous administration, noting that under the former government, critical exams like Group 1, Group 2, and DSC were often delayed or marred by issues like exam paper leaks. He emphasized that under the Congress government, significant progress has been made, including the successful conduct of the Group 1 prelims and the finalization of dates for the Group 3 exams in November next year.
He concluded by encouraging all aspiring teachers to prepare well for the DSC exams, stressing the government’s desire for them to secure teaching positions and contribute to the education of children in government schools.
