HMWSSB Manager Engineering Vacancy 2026

TGPSC has announced 130 vacancies for Manager (Engineering) in HMWSSB. Of these, 6 vacancies are unreserved and 124 vacancies are local, with reservation applicable according to the Telangana State and Subordinate Service Rules and relevant government orders.

TGPSC Manager Engineering Eligibility 2026

Candidates must be Indian citizens and must possess the prescribed educational qualification. For the Manager (Engineering) post, candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. The vacancy distribution by engineering discipline is:

• 80% of posts – Civil Engineering
• 15% of posts – Electrical / Mechanical Engineering
• 5% of posts – CSE / IT / ECE Engineering
  The required qualification must have been declared by the concerned University on or before the notification date, 18 September 2026.

TGPSC HMWSSB Manager Age Limit

The age limit is 18 to 44 years, calculated as on 01 July 2026. Candidates should not have been born after 01 July 2008 or before 02 July 1982. The upper age limit has been raised from 34 to 44 years as per the government order mentioned in the notification.
Age relaxation is applicable as follows:

• SC/ST/BC/EWS – 5 years
• Persons with Disabilities – 10 years
• Telangana State Government Employees – Up to 5 years based on regular service
• Ex-Servicemen – 3 years plus length of military service
• Eligible NCC Instructors – 3 years plus length of NCC service

TGPSC Manager Engineering Salary 2026

Selected candidates appointed as Manager (Engineering) in HMWSSB will receive a pay scale of ₹54,220 – ₹1,33,630.

The selection will be based on an Objective Type Written Examination, conducted through CBRT or OMR-based mode. The examination consists of two papers:

Paper-I will be bilingual in English and Telugu, while Paper-II will be conducted in English. The examination includes General Studies and General Abilities and the concerned engineering subject.

TGPSC HMWSSB Manager Application Fee

The online application processing fee is ₹1,000 for OC and BC candidates and ₹500 for SC, ST and PwD candidates. An examination fee of ₹120 is applicable, but unemployed applicants are exempt from the examination fee. Government employees are required to pay the examination fee.
