Telangana DSC Notification: The Telangana government has revoked the DSC notification issued last year for the recruitment of teachers in the state. In September last year, a notification was released for 5,089 teacher posts. The commissioner of school education issued an order quashing the notification issued in 2023, while the notification for the mega DSC with more than 11,000 posts was to be issued within a day or two. Candidates who had applied for the previous DSC notification will not have to apply again.
A total of 5,089 teacher vacancies were filled up in the state from September 20 to October 21 last year. Preparations were made to Teachers Recruitment Test (TRT) from November 20 to 30. At the same time, the TRT exams were postponed in view of the polling on November 30. The commissioner of school education had earlier said that the new dates would be announced soon. Subsequently, the old notification was revoked in the wake of the formation of the new government and the preparations for the release of the mega DSC notification by adding a few more posts soon.
